The well-known lighting designers Serge and Robert Cornelissen have been inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry´s statement „Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away“ when they were designing the functional LED office floor lamp Purist. They reduced the luminare to its essence: a vertical line and a horizontal line coming together and embracing the workspace. The result is a thoroughly purified and neutral design which merges perfectly with modern architecture. Because of its overhang of 1,240mm Purist has the advantage that the luminaire is positioned central over the writing desk and thereby illuminates consistantly the working surface. Purist comes as direct/indirect version and is equipped with a highliy transparent microprismatic cover to reduce undesirable glare. The luminaire body comes as white powder-coated aluminium or as aluminium anodised version and can optional be ordered with 2-step-switch, dimmable by push-button or with motion and daylight control. Purist is available with 5420 or 5740 lumen. Purist: The architect´s choice.
